ABOUT ME

Mom and professional but was lost

I was a normal woman looking for balance.  Not too long ago, I took a leap of faith and enrolled in a six week beginner yoga class and was completely HOOKED. In search of learning more, I completed my 200 RYT and continued to grow my practice.  I honestly had no intention to teach.  But as I continued to grow and reap the tremendous benefits of yoga, I decided it was for me.

I am a mother to three children and full time Certified Hand Therapist and like every other woman out there struggled to find balance.  Once I was introduced to yoga philosophies and practice I was finally able to find what was missing. Through my yoga practice I now have calmness and serenity in my life.

I have opened myself to an entirely different lifestyle including mindfulness, meditation, healthier approach to eating and overall balanced lifestyle.  

For many years I battled with unhealthy thinking in regards to weight and exercise and my belief was the more strenuous the exercise the better.  Through the practice of yoga, I am now able to listen to ME and what MY body needs,  NOT societal pressure of what the perfect body is. 

I FOUND ME!!

My goal is to provide education and support to those who are looking to dive into yoga from beginner level to the more experienced practitioner.  

Sharing my belief that life should be lived with joy, gratitude, and a dedication to being present in the moment. These feelings inform and guide my teaching, which is focused on helping my students better connect to themselves, their communities, and to the planet.
